Verdict: I started the tee off mid day, just after heavy snow in the morning, some of fairways still covered by white of
the snow, what a beauty (I hate the cold). The first hole amazes me with the exotic scenary, just around the green. The “Dead Oak Tree” background is just amazing. A beautiful composition and balance between green of grass and gold wooden dead oak tree, big one. Starting with a flat fairway, Par 4, I just felt the open space gave me freedom to hit the ball and the wide of it save most of our first drive. Hole 3, 4 and 5 are Par 5, extremely hilly, I wish I had a caddy with me to pull my club…:( Hole 3 and 4 are big mistakes. Birdie on the 5th gave me a fresh blood to rule the following holes, but it failed…hahaha.
The back nine was much better. Trees everywhere, coupe most of the green. Extreme accurations (that I don’t have) are needed, my long
drive did’nt help me at all. (just remember: some said that the golf is started after your drive, and it’s true). Quite odd weather, suddenly snow falled after tee’ed on the 12th hole. Worried with the snow fall, a group behind us, withdrawn from the course, we’re keep going. And the next 10 minutes, the sun was back. The same sequences was happened on the 14th, dark, snow and sun, what a wheather!!!
Social time!!!, spent a while in the restaurant. Just like other English style restaurant, smell beer and gloomy ambience. The sunny spilled the whole room very well so gave us optimum warm and soft light. I took normal capucinno from vending machine (the only one that I could take). Chat here and there, set another game next week on Windmill Golf Course.
